All cover plates follow standard Decora sizing for width and height.
A typical original wall plate is approximately 1/4” (6.35mm) thick.
The screwless design is approximately 3/8” (8mm) thick.
The additional thickness allows the hidden screwless mounting system to function securely while maintaining a clean look. When installed, the difference in thickness is subtle and maintains a clean, modern appearance.
All designs using the same base system are interchangeable — you can easily switch plate styles without changing the installation setup.
